General Guidelines

1. In general no one signs off for summer camp at summer camp. Summer camp teaches the boys the skills. Once they come back to the troop, they are then given the opportunity to show what they have learned either in a troop meeting or in a camping environment.
2. All swimming requirements for each rank must be done at a waters edge.
3. Cooking requirements for rank advancement should be progressive. You cannot sign off on cooking (or any requirement for that matter) in multiple places if only done once. It must be done multiple times – just as the requirement specifies.
4. First aid is a VERY IMPORTANT part of scouting. Please make sure that has been tested completely and they know it well
