Troop 574 Scout Service Project Guidelines
Individual Scout efforts for service to others projects continue to need Scoutmaster approval before the effort is started and be credited for rank advancement. Please note, this is not additional bureaucracy to hold the Scout back but rather to make sure the Scout understands what he is undertaking and how his contribution is making a difference.
Troop Related Service Projects should fulfill the following expectations
Be real and significant
Be democratic
Be clearly defined
Be well prepared
Include reflection and recognition
